Which sunscreens are sweat proof and waterproof?
Posted on Aug 11, 2015
The FDA no longer allows sunscreen manufacturers to claim sweat-proof or waterproof. The most we can claim is 80 minute water resistant, if the product testing supports that claim.
The True Natural Sun Stick is a great product for active individuals - its easy to apply, is not whitening and is 80 minute water-resistant. It’s the best product we have to hold up to heavy sweating. Regardless, you will still need to reapply at least every 2 hours - or more if you are regularly toweling off.
The other options are the Active 30 or Baby 30 - they are slightly less water-resistant (40 minutes).
